Medical Article
Our members authored a medical article distributed to multiple school libraries. Our work delves into topics like the effects of screen time on adolescent mental health, offering insights gleaned from scientific studies. Accessible language and relatable examples engage readers, fostering awareness and prompting reflection on technology's impact on well-being among peers.

Proper Disposal of Medication (Campaign)
We initiated a campaign advocating proper medication disposal around our community. Through education and community engagement, we promoted safe practices to protect the environment and prevent misuse.

Partnership with Etre
"Etre Girls" is a supportive community empowering young girls through mentorship, workshops, and discussions. It fosters confidence, leadership skills, and self-awareness, promoting personal growth and positive social change. Our organization got into contact with the head of Etre, Illana Raia, and discussed possible future collaborations.

Etre X Ted-Ed
Starting this year 2023, the three founders/leaders were able to film their own journey through science as a TED-ED student speaker. We were so glad to share our stories to the world! Thank you, Etre girls!

Mentorship with Dr. Muraszko (Professor at UMich)
CMSO could receive the opportunity to hold a mentorship session with Dr. Muraszko, the chair of neurosurgery of the University of Michigan. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to ask question regarding the neuroscience field and to gain amounts of inspiration to further develop towards our biomedical goals.

CI Bazaar Fundraiser
We hosted a fundraiser at our school's bazaar event. All proceeds went towards providing sanitary pads to communities in need, ensuring dignity and health equity for all. Additionally, we donated the money earned to help recovery from the Turkey-Syria Earthquake disaster.

Internship at Ehwa Women's University Hospital
We were able to receive a short one-day internship at Ehwa Women's University Hospital. We learned about:
-Learning about radiology
-Training in using the ultrasound machine
-CPR training
-Looking and learning about the history of first women in medicine (Korea)

House Fundraiser
During our school's house event, we were able to sell tteokbokkis, a typical Korean street food of everyone's favorite.

DIVE Week Coordinator
During the official curriculum of grade 7 class, CMSO was given the opportunity to run and coordinate the entire week with the theme of UNSDG.

Village School Summer Program
We were able to run a short 30 minutes session daily during the summer program of 2024.
